Project files

A MigriX project will normally contain a number of project files (.mirp), each representing a modelling case or scenario. These input grids and files in the db folder will often be shared between the different cases. If one of the input files are changed, then all cases in the project that refer to this file will be changed. It is therefore required to always save to a new filename when editing the input files, unless you want the edits to apply all project cases. The table below gives an overview of the different files in a typical  MigriX project. The "Affecting" columns indicates if the file is used as model input (and therefore may change simulation results), to set up the graphical views, for input editing or in simulation output analysis. The "Shared" column indicates if these files apply to one particular case, or if they are shared between multiple or all project cases.
