Migris is pleased to announce the release of a public 3D basin model covering the UK Central North Sea (CNS) and Moray Firth areas. The model accounts for HC generation and migration within layers of Permian to Paleogene age. The layer model has been built upon recently released datasets from the UK Oil and Gas Authority and is highly relevant for the upcoming 32nd UK Offshore Licensing Round. The model input can easily be modified to incorporate your own interpretations, such as local depth and facies maps.

Visualization of hydrocarbon retention in new versions of Migri and MigriX
We are pleased to announce the 1.6.6 release of Migri and MigriX. With this release, hydrocarbon retention during secondary migration modelling has been included as an option also in our lightweight MigriX version. This new functionality can be used to analyse the effects of oil and gas retention on trapped oil and gas volumes (Figure 1).
