Migri and MigriX Features Overview
MigriX and Migri are delivered as stand-alone applications. MigriX is based on the Migri simulator core, but offers a limited set of features. The user interface is similar in Migri and MigriX, but MigriX only exposes a limited set of input parameters and result properties to the user. This makes it easy for a new user to get started using MigriX, without having to consider all the complexities of the full Migri model. The table below shows an overview of the main features, highlighting the differences between the Migri and MigriX versions.
Projects created in MigriX can be opened and simulated in the full Migri version, allowing for the use of the more advanced features such as fault sealing and stochastic simulation on the same basin model. MigriX has a size limitation of 2.5 million elements, which results in very fast simulation times (normally a few minutes). Models larger than this size limit will be automatically resampled with respect to grid spacing. The generated models can be run at the full resolution in the full Migri version.
The MigriXplore option is a license-controlled add-on feature for MigriX. The Migri Stochastic (Migrisk) and CO2 options are add-on license features for Migri.
For information about the pricing of MigriX and MigriExplore, see the Purchase request page.
